Carmen Navarro, Ph.D., is a fulltime Lecturer at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, Department of Communication Studies in the School of Liberal Arts. Dr. Navarro is a published national and international researcher and scholar. Dr. Navarro’s research studies have focused on San Bernardino, California, United States of America, Paris, France, Europe, Orlando, Florida, United States of America, and other international terrorist attacks. Dr. Navarro earned a Ph.D. in Communication with her dissertation focus on media, terrorism and counterterrorism from Regent University.
