Maurizio Peciccia, MD, is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst (IFPS) as well as the president of ISPS Italy (the Italian branch of the International Society for Psychological and Social Approaches to Psychosis). He is the director of the Gaetano Benedetti Institute of Existential Psychoanalysis in Assisi. In collaboration with Gaetano Benedetti, he has devised the progressive mirror drawing and the amniotic therapy utilising affective touch for individuals diagnosed with psychosis. He is the author of 150 publications pertaining to psychoanalytic-oriented psychotherapy for psychosis.
