Per-Einar Binder is a professor of clinical psychology at the University of Bergen, and a specialist in intensive psychotherapy, member of the Institutt for Psykoterapi, Oslo. In recent years, his clinical and research profile has focused on young adults with difficulties related to perfectionism. Per-Einar Binder’s other academic interests include qualitative research on identity and change processes, as well as theoretical and philosophical psychology at the intersection of existential, developmental and therapeutic issues, with Heidegger, Gadamer, Fromm and Winnicott as reference points.
